Minister Cabello offers balance after the earthquake in the country: We have some damage and we are taking care of them

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, provided an assessment of the damage recorded as a result of the earthquake registered in the country and which was felt in several cities.

He specified that there has been damage in several areas of the municipalities of Chacao and in the state of La Guaira where buildings and houses suffered structural damage, so the impact is being evaluated.

“Here we have several complicated areas; the area of Los Palos Grandes, Altamira, which was the seismic zone of Caracas, where we have very alarming situations from a graphic point of view, some buildings and houses have come to us, they have collapsed, we are dealing with all the security agencies, civil protection agencies, volunteers and firefighters,” he said.

He noted that this earthquake was most intensely felt in the states of Trujillo, Carabobo, Yaracuy, Aragua, Miranda, La Guaira and Caracas.
