From the city of Guanare, in the Portuguese state, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, confirmed the will of the Bolivarian Government to demand an end to all sanctions against the country, which he remarked have caused great harm against Venezuelans.

“Our goal is for Venezuela to fly free of sanctions, free of blockade, free of threats,” he said during his speech at the close of a mobilization of the Portuguese people as part of the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions.

He denounced that racist attacks by opposition extremism seek to demoralize the people, while being emphatic in pointing out that Venezuelans will not succumb to these attacks and will remain mobilized and working.

“The offenses or attacks on us will not demoralize us, the sanctions have not demobilized us, on the contrary, it has made us put our feet on the ground, it has made us feel firsthand an attack on our people, and that has given us the strength to keep moving forward to continue fighting,” he said.
