This Monday, April 27, the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that the violent actions carried out by the extreme right against the Venezuelan people “are not political.”
In that sense, he argued that extremism attacks even baseball players, who played “like the Venezuelan team”, as well as the campaign against the athlete Yulimar Rojas, “they called her black and Chavista”, in a derogatory way, and for the same reasons they burned Orlando Figuera.
“Here in Mérida, in Anzoátegui, in Falcón. Is that politics? Someone who acts like this cannot say that it is for political reasons,” he stressed in the state of Mérida, at the headquarters of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the entity, where the Meeting for a Venezuela in Peace and Free of Sanctions is being held.
For that reason, he confirmed that those responsible for these violent acts are not political prisoners, “like those who planted the bomb on Danilo Anderson, nor those who stole the money from PDVSA.”
He also recalled that those killed during the Fourth Republic, there was no Amnesty Law, “there was a law of oblivion, because there are still three thousand, that no one knows where they are. As president of the Assembly, I handed over the body of Noé Rodríguez to his mother.”
