The sector vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, invited the Venezuelan people to join the demand for an end to sanctions and for peace, based on faith and hope.

“We are going to ask forcefully for our country, we are going to ask forcefully that this country always lives in peace,” he urged from the city of Guanare, in the Portuguese state, where he highlighted the strength of the Venezuelan people to continue to mobilize.

“We have walked with the people, listening to people (...) they can believe whatever they want in their faith, but they are here,” he said.

He questioned opposition extremism for its anti-Venezuelan and racist behavior, while expressing his optimism that those who have been swept away by hate-filled leaders will one day be imbued with love for Venezuela and its people.

“Their worst punishment is that one day they start to feel love and they don't know what it is. Let it start to itch on the body and let it be love, and they're not going to know it's because they're not used to feeling that, they live in hate,” he said.

Finally, he thanked the People of Portuguesa for the reception. “Thank you for receiving us with such love. Thank you for allowing us to be here with you and, with Portuguesa, we say to Venezuela: may God bless us because this is a good people. May God bless you. May God bless Venezuela and may God bless every Venezuelan in any corner of this country a hug take care of yourselves”, he closed.
