Minister Daniella Cabello calls for people to enjoy Morrocoy with conscience during Holy Week

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, invited the population to enjoy the Morrocoy National Park during the Easter holidays, stressing the importance of preserving this ecosystem.

“Morrocoy National Park is not just a destination, it's an ecosystem that we must protect and this Holy Week we want you to enjoy it, but also to take care of it,” he said through a video posted by the Ministry for Tourism on Instagram.

In that regard, he called not to pollute, not to extract marine species and to respect authorized routes, speeds and areas within the park.

He also urged those who own boats to register it through the Zarpes application of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), or manually. In addition, he instructed seasoners to prioritize certified tourist service providers to ensure a safe and orderly experience.

He reiterated that the enjoyment of the park must be accompanied by environmental awareness. “Not everything goes here, you come to enjoy it, but with responsibility,” he said, while stressing the importance of reducing environmental impact and contributing to the conservation of this important natural destination.
