The Minister of Popular Power for
Tourism, Daniella Cabello, held a meeting this Tuesday with the ambassador of the
State of Qatar in Venezuela, Salman Nabit Mubarak Abdullah Al-Khulaifi, with the objective of continuing to strengthen cooperative ties in the field of tourism.
“Venezuela continues to open up to the world
through tourism. We held an important meeting with the ambassador of the
State of Qatar in Venezuela, Salman Nabit Mubarak Abdullah Al-Khulaifi, to
continue strengthening tourism cooperation, investment opportunities and connectivity between our countries,” he said through his account on
the social network Instagram.
He also indicated that the space was
appropriate to officially extend to the State of Qatar the invitation as a
guest country of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (FITVEN) 2026, one
of the most important spaces for tourism and commercial promotion in the
region.
He stressed that FITVEN 2026 is the scenario
in which “Venezuela shows the world its diversity, its destinations, its culture and
its enormous potential for economic development through tourism.”
In addition, he highlighted that Qatar Airways' Doha-Bogotá-Caracas air route will soon be opened , which will allow greater development for tourism projects in the national territory.
“We continue to build
bridges that connect Venezuela with new international markets. Venezuela
has everything to become a great destination in the world, and we are
preparing it step by step,” he said.
