Minister Daniella Cabello: La Guaira was the most visited destination during the 2026 Carnival holidays

This Wednesday, February 18, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, announced that the state of La Guaira established itself as the most visited destination during the 2026 Carnival holidays, reaching its eighth consecutive year as the national leader in tourist influx.

In this regard, he specified that the Guaireña state received 22,000 visitors, reflecting the sustained preference of vacationers for its beaches, services and recreational offer.

This was stated in the spaces of PDVSA La Estancia, where the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led the event to provide the balance of the deployment of the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026, together with the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón and other authorities.

The minister also pointed out that of the more than 7 million people who mobilized during the Carnival holidays, about 4 million seasonal workers moved to the Venezuelan coastal axis.
