Minister Héctor Rodríguez: The Government has recovered 1,700 public schools across the country

The recovery of 1,700 educational institutions throughout the country highlights the Bolivarian Government's significant progress in school infrastructure to date, said the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, during a supervisory visit to the Parque La Paz Initial Education Center, in El Paraíso, in Caracas.

In this regard, he pointed out that these tasks are carried out thanks to the joint effort between the Ministries of Public Works and Education, also by the governorates and mayors.

He assured that, despite the economic difficulties caused by the blockade, the country's current stability allows the rescue of all the schools to leave them optimal.

He also stated that school enrollment increased with the addition of 500,000 new students, bringing the total number to six million 10,000 boys and girls who are present in classrooms.
