Minister Padrón shows Venezuelan tourism potential to UNWTO director

Through the social network X, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Ali Padrón, reported that he held a meeting with the director of the Americas of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Gustavo Santos and the director of Technical Cooperation, Jaime Mayaki, where they talked about the advances of the sector and the projection for 2024.
In this regard, he indicated that this meeting will allow different companies to consolidate new proposals for air connectivity and commercial alliances with tour operators and delegations present.
“We are at the second most important fair in the world and the largest in Ibero-America, at the stand in Venezuela, where we promote our megadiverse, multi-destination and peaceful country,” he added.
It is important to note that the meeting took place, within the framework of the 44th International Tourism Fair (FITUR), which began with the presence of more than 30 companies from Venezuela, who will be at the Ifema fairgrounds in the city of Madrid - Spain, from this Wednesday, January 24 to next Sunday, the 28th.
