This Thursday, September 3rd, the Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, assured that the energy agreement signed between Venezuela and the United States will have a positive impact on the daily economy, as well as on the development of the entire national industry.
In this regard, he assured that national development in the area of hydrocarbons “will transform the quality of life of Venezuelans”, due to the employment offer that will be generated through the execution of the different projects.
In an interview with Venezolana de Televisión, he explained that the agreements and alliances reached between Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and different companies around the world seek to consolidate economic growth and strengthen commercial ties.
In this context, he stressed that Venezuela plays a fundamental role in the global energy table, supported by the fact that it has the largest oil reserves on the planet. “It's impossible to get Venezuela out of that equation,” he determined.
He said that the agreements signed have been thanks to hard work in which large transnational companies interested in investing and developing oil fields in the country have participated.
The minister said that recent agreements seek to increase oil production in the short term and contribute to the global energy balance.
Henao also explained the path of alliances with transnational companies, through different energy agreements, which guarantee the productive recovery of Venezuelan oil reserves.
He specified the wide range of companies of different nationalities that are part of the various crystallized agreements in energy, oil and gas matters with Venezuela.
He also said that the investment is reactivating the entire industrial park, as well as the development of drilling and drilling equipment.
Referring to the reform of the Hydrocarbons Law, he asserted that this regulation opens up the possibility of different domestic and foreign business models that make it possible to optimize the oil production chain and, therefore, consolidate the economy of all of Venezuela.
