Minister Ramírez: Comprehensive rehabilitation works are progressing at the Domingo Luciani Hospital

In order to continue optimizing the public health network and guarantee optimal spaces for the community, the comprehensive rehabilitation work being carried out at the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital, located in El Llanito, Miranda state, is making strong progress, within the framework of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Plan, under the coordination of the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Public Works and Services.

The information was provided by the Minister of the People's Power of Public Works and Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan Ramírez, on his account on the social network Instagram, in which he noted that currently, crews and specialized technical personnel are still deployed in different areas of the hospital complex with masonry, wall cladding, applying paint and finishing to floors and walls.

Also simultaneously, progress is being made in the demolition of the duct wall on the 7th floor to change pipes to the basement.

He points out that one of the outstanding achievements at this stage is the successful completion of the waterproofing work on the roofs of the Blood Bank, Hemodynamics and Pump Room, located in modules A and C, which covered more than 2,800 square meters.

These tasks are now continuing in module D for an area of 484 square meters and on the ceiling of floor 2 with an area of 1,250 square meters.

He also assured that the basic services of the healthcare center have been optimized through the change of electrical circuits and the installation of more than 2,400 luminaires throughout the premises.

In terms of elevators, eight are fully operational, while one is still being repaired.
