Ministry of Ecosocialism addresses environmental controls to preserve Waraira Repano

The Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Freddy Ñáñez, held a working meeting this Wednesday with the president of the National Park Institute (INPARQUES), Rosinés Chávez, and representatives of the Palmeras de Chacao, where they discussed plans, strategies and controls for the preservation of Waraira Repano.
On his Telegram channel, Ñáñez highlighted that the meeting was held “under the premise that life comes first”, to preserve the plant lung of Greater Caracas. He noted that “at the meeting we addressed various issues, such as: environmental controls for traditional pruning. Rehabilitation of nurseries to strengthen the park's flora and the Reforestation Plan for a greener Waraira”.
In this regard, he highlighted the articulation of efforts with “mountain protectors” to safeguard this World Heritage Site.
