The People's Power Minister for Electric Energy, Rolando Alcalá, reported that more than 30 photovoltaic poles were installed in the Santa Eduvigis Environmental Technology Park, in the state of La Guaira, in order to optimize public lighting.
During a night inspection, Alcalá stated that the activity was carried out in compliance with instructions issued by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to serve the area.
During the monitoring process, the correct implementation of solar energy equipment was verified, which will reinforce the strategic lighting system in the coastal entity.
“We are in the area of the Santa Eduvigis Technology Park, where more than 30 solar poles or luminaires were incorporated to illuminate both the traffic route and some operating routes so that the machines can work safely during the night hours and the work is continuous 24 hours a day,” said the minister in a video posted on the institution's social networks.
The maneuvers carried out by CORPOELEC personnel will increase visibility at night and will ensure continuous operations to transfer the vestiges of the double earthquake around the clock. This ensures the fluidity and safety of the work carried out on site.
The authorities of the electricity sector will maintain constant monitoring in the entity to consolidate comprehensive care for communities and ensure the continuity of work.
