Ministry of Health enabled more than 200 free vaccination points in Monagas

A total of 214 free vaccination points were set up in the 13 municipalities of Monagas state, as part of the immunization campaign and preventive surveillance.
The regional coordinator of Epidemiology, Álvaro Chacoa, stressed that there are currently no epidemic outbreaks or suspected cases of pathologies associated with vectors such as mosquitoes and other insects, in the state.
However, he pointed out that the immunization campaign and preventive surveillance are being maintained throughout the Monaguense region, according to the press release of the Ministry of People's Power for Health.
“The vaccination points are distributed in hospitals, outpatient clinics, public offices and other public and private offices,” he said.
Chacoa pointed out that, on instructions from the president in charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, in synergy with Governor Ernesto Luna, health personnel present in the state remain active to maintain the epidemiological encirclement and thus protect the population.
