Ministry of Health held a full day of medical care in three municipalities in the state of Amazonas

As part of the celebration of the National Day of the Artisan Fisherman and Aquaculturist, a total of 3,900 free medical care guaranteed by the State Directorate of Health (DES) in the state of Amazonas.

The activity was carried out from the facilities of the Marine Infantry Naval Pier, a strategic point for the benefit of workers and their families.

During the approach, the multidisciplinary team provided assistance in the specialties of pediatrics, gynecology, general medicine, internal medicine, dentistry and nutrition.

In the same way, the operation included ultrasound services, immunization, malaria screening and drug delivery for residents of the municipalities of Atures, Autana and Cedeño.

The deployment included legal advice, food sales and aesthetics services through joint work with the Missions and Great Missions System, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Public Defender's Office, the National Institute of Nutrition (INN) and the Council of Fishermen and Aquaculturists (CONPPA).

In this way, the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), led by Minister Nuramy Gutiérrez, strengthens the National Public Health System (SPNS) throughout the country.
