The president of the National Assembly, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, proposed this Friday the creation of the University of Cacao, to train young people in the production of this important sector for Venezuela.
“Our boys and girls have to learn. We have to propose from President Delcy Rodríguez that a University Institute of Cocoa be created, that people be trained,” said the head of Parliament during a meeting with the economic and productive sector of Cocoa in the Barlovento axis, Miranda state, as part of the activities carried out in the second phase of the National Pilgrimage for the end of sanctions.
He stressed that this house of studies should not be in Caracas but where cocoa is produced, “and that students learn about cocoa by planting cocoa, harvesting cocoa, drying cocoa, fermenting cocoa, processing cocoa, selling the cocoa product.”
