From Los Teques, in Miranda state, this Monday, the candidate of the revolutionary forces, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the responsibility he assumes by participating in the electoral contest on July 28 without neglecting his work as acting president and defender of the Fatherland.

“I am a candidate president and I have to work triple duty,” said Maduro during a massive mobilization in the town of Miranda, as part of the Our Venezuela Campaign of the 21st Century.

“Why triple? Because I have to govern and serve the People with the 1x10 of Good Government and a thousand forms. Secondly, I have to go out and campaign to embrace the People and lead them to the new victory of July 28. And, thirdly, I have to defend the right to peace and to life that is threatened by this fascist right,” explained the revolutionary leader.
