Miranda promotes legislative agenda to strengthen safety and health

Parliamentary work in the state of Miranda was consolidated during a regular session of the Legislative Council in which agreements focused on social development, security, health, vocational training and the exercise of participatory democracy in the entity were prioritized.

As a first point, the parliament honored the 17th anniversary of the National Experimental Security University (UNES) through an institutional agreement. With the presence of a student delegation, the importance of this university in the technical preparation of civil servants was highlighted.

In the area of human rights, and with regard to Women's Month, legislators welcomed the Miranda Women's Movement. At this meeting, the creation of the Legislative Technical Board with a Gender Perspective was formalized, a tool with legal force designed to protect the rights of women from Mirandinas and deepen the feminist approach to regional management.

The Legislative Council also praised the massive community participation in the National Popular Consultation 2026. He also paid tribute to health professionals on Doctor's Day, and announced the holding of a special event to commemorate the sacrifice of doctors, who guarantee the well-being of families in the state's 21 municipalities through the regional public health system.
