In an effort to stop the spread of canine viruses, the Nevado Mission is carrying out a series of prevention days in the state of Aragua. To date, nearly 600 canines have received six-fold immunization, in the midst of an epidemiological alert that keeps veterinary specialists on their toes.
Francisco Mijares, regional coordinator of the Nevado Mission, reported - through a publication - about the success of the fourth vaccination day carried out in the Animas 1 sector, Comuna La Gran Pica.
In this deployment, the representative of the mission in Aragua stressed that 150 doses of the six-fold vaccine were administered free of charge.
The day, this weekend, took place in an open-air hospital where 230 animals benefited from medical consultations and deworming, treatments for various pathologies and wound healing, nail cutting, ear and bath cleaning, control of ectoparasites and ticks and rabies vaccination.
