More than 800 pets from the municipality of Guaicaipura, in Miranda, have received free veterinary care so far in 2026, thanks to the weekly days of the Nevado Mission.

The mayor of the Guaicaipura municipality, Farith Fraija, highlighted the scope of these actions, which are carried out together with the teams of the social missions and the People's Power. “These days mean quality care for the pampered in our homes, because our animals are also part of our family,” he said.

The activities are carried out continuously in different sectors of the municipality and include veterinary consultations, advice on animal care, nail cutting, ear cleaning, deworming and monitoring of treated cases, bringing these services closer to communities.

The director of the Social Movements and Socialist Missions of Guaicaipura, Liliana Durán, stressed that the work continues actively throughout the year.
“We are holding weekly days providing veterinary care and guidance for families who care for their companion animals,” he said.
