During a national videoconference, the Minister of Education, Yelitze Santaella, reported that 57,000 women have already registered on the platform “Educate in Venezuela Women”, after making a preview of it.
In addition, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the minister invited the population to register in this space that seeks the personal and professional empowerment of women through access to digital resources and multimodal education.
He stressed that it is important to remember that this new platform is part of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission, and that is because the territory and its potentialities promote the empowerment of Venezuelan women. “We are pleased to share this space with you, a space that already marks the routes we must continue in 2024,” he said.
For her part, the Minister of People's Power for University Education, Sandra Oblitas, who also accompanied the activity, highlighted that 2023 ended in victory.
“Education is undoubtedly a sector, a potential, that we have and that has been a bastion of important struggles and battles of teaching, learning, training, the transformation of values; the battle of formation has great meaning in the historical process we are experiencing,” he said.
