The Valencia Art Museum (MUVA) will open its doors next Sunday, March 15, starting at 11:00 in the morning to welcome the 4th Small Format Visual Arts Biennial “Arturo Michelena 2026".

According to information from the Ministry for Culture, the event, organized by the Great Living Venezuela Mission “My Beloved Homeland” and the Art Network, celebrates creativity in a small format under the motto “Small Format, Great Views”.

This edition pays homage to Maestro Quintín Hernández, a renowned pillar of Venezuelan plastic art. The exhibition will bring together more than 120 works from 15 states of the country, highlighting the representation of 67 creators from the state of Carabobo, followed by delegations from Aragua, Caracas, Delta Amacuro, Apure, Sucre, Yaracuy, Zulia, Miranda, Cojedes, Bolívar, Guárico, Portuguesa, Lara, Mérida, Barinas and Nueva Esparta.

The jury selected works that combine the experience of established artists with the freshness of emerging talents, consolidating the biennial as a space for creative diversity and artistic dialogue. The exhibition not only seeks to show the technique and originality of the participants, but also to become a meeting for the entire Venezuelan family.

The MUVA will keep the exhibition open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy national talent in every corner of the exhibition. Admission will be free and inviting all the public to experience this celebration of the visual arts.
