In the second discussion, the National Assembly unanimously approved the Bill for the Promotion and Promotion of Coffee, making progress in strengthening the coffee sector as a strategic area for the country's productive development-

The debate on this legal text was the only item on the agenda scheduled for today's plenary session. The parliamentarians are making progress in the discussion of the remaining 35 articles of the project, with the objective of providing the sector with a solid legal tool that promotes local production and protects the work of coffee growing families.

The final proposal comprehensively brought together the vision, needs and proposals of more than one hundred coffee producers from different regions of the country.

Venezuelan coffee currently stands out as an export product with a strong position in international markets such as Italy and Russia, thanks to its participation in international fairs and exhibitions.
