National delegation will participate in the Pan-American Karate Championship in Paraguay

A total of 75 karate clubs make up the Creole delegation that will participate in the XXXIV Pan-American Youth Karate Do Championship in Asunción, Paraguay, where they will attend this sporting event with the fifth largest delegation.

Among the national competitors, the presence of the champion of the Bolivarian Youth Games in Sucre, Bolivia, 2024, Gianluca Greco, and the gold medalist in the South American Championship in Brazil and the Central American in Colombia held this year, José Antonio Molina, the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports reported.

The Youth Pan American Championship brings together the main promises of 25 countries in the continent at the UENO SND Arena Asuncena Sports Center, from next Thursday, August 28th to August 31st.

This Creole delegation was formed at the national selective and qualifying ceiling on July 21, 2025, where one athlete was selected per category in both specialties to represent the country in this continental event.
