National Executive approves the construction of the 2026 World Baseball Champions Walk

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez. announced the decree of March 17 as National Baseball Day in honor of the feat achieved by the Venezuelan team during the Tenth edition of the World Baseball Classic, where he was entitled as monarch by defeating the United States 3x2.

Rodríguez received at the Miraflores Palace, together with the Venezuelan people, the 2026 World Baseball Classic Cup, won with glory by the tricolor team, which from now on will have a walk for sports heroes in the Plaza de Juventud in Caracas.

“I thank the players of the tricolor team for having brought so much emotion to the country and for making all Venezuelans proud with their performance in the World Baseball Classic and I have reviewed their social networks with the proposal to create a ride for world champions in Venezuela and it is approved, and it will be erected in the Youth Square in Caracas,” stressed the president in charge.

The cup was presented to Rodríguez by the president of the Venezuelan Baseball Federation. Aracelis Leon.
