La Bolivariana de Puertos (BOLIPORTS), through its port of El Guamache, successfully attended to the arrival of a container ship with a total of 182 containers totaling 2,151 tons of various merchandise destined to supply the island entity.
The receipt of these various items makes it possible to meet the commercial and social demand of the state of Nueva Esparta in a timely manner, guaranteeing the continuous flow of basic necessities, supplies and commercial goods for the benefit of Neospartan families.
During the operational activity, the unloading and loading of containerized merchandise was successfully carried out, reaffirming its commitment to the Export Engine by specifying the release of 164 tons of processed items from the sea in the island region.
Among the exported products, canned sardines, frozen fish and seaweed stand out, a shipment that is marketed to international markets such as Peru, Canada, China, Panama and the Dominican Republic, according to the BOLIPUERTOS press.
During the beginning of the third quarter of the year 2026, the operational and logistical efficiency of the port of El Guamache was reflected, and Margarita Island was consolidated as the epicenter of non-traditional Caribbean exports, a strategic platform that allows the economic dynamism of the Venezuelan insular area, positioning domestic production in the international trade agenda.
