Nicolás Maduro: We are proud of the dignity we embody on behalf of millions of men and women

This Sunday, October 11, President Nicolás Maduro thanked him for the expressions of
solidarity and support he has received with Cilia Flores over the
past few days, and called for prayer and action in the streets,
networks and homes.
“Cilia and I are grateful for the enormous expressions of love and
support we have received over the past few days,” she wrote
through her Telegram channel.
He also reaffirmed his confidence that truth and
justice will prevail over lies. “Today, more than ever, we are possessed by
the certainty that lies and injustice will be overcome by the light of
our truth and the strength of God, who loves us ever more intensely,” he said.
Maduro highlighted the dignity of those who believe and fight for a new
world. “We are proud of the dignity we embody on behalf of
millions of men and women who believe and fight for a new world,” he said, recalling quotes from
the Bible.
He also stated that patience and perseverance are
essential to maintain hope. “With patience and solid
and unquestionable virtue, we are united in the spirit of hope and
perseverance, in our common being, in our truth,” he wrote.
Finally, the president called on the People to
maintain “prayer and action” in the streets, networks, walls and
homes.
