  • Not satisfied with setting fire to Figuera, the “Freedom Fighters” stabbed him savagely on the ground, wounds that, together with the burns that eventually caused his death, after dying for 16 days.
  • No voice from the Organization of American States (OAS) or the United Nations (UN) spoke out to condemn such an appalling crime.
  • During the 16 days, at Domingo Luciani Hospital, Orlando suffered from generalized multiple injuries, six stab wounds and third-degree burns on 80% of his body.
  • The directors of the Democratic Unity Bureau (MUD) called, in that fascist wave, for “The National Planton” (blockade of streets, burning, assault of public facilities and attacks on members of the State security forces).
  • Among the victims of these fascist aggressions, in May 2017, 46 people fell, mostly uniformed police officers who tried to contain fascist anger.
  • Five days earlier, on Monday, May 15, Jorge David Escandon, and Reinaldo Alberto Alvarado, Policarabobo officials, were ambushed and attacked by snipers on the highway leading to Naguanagua, in that state.
  • Jorge David Escandon was shot in the head and killed four days later.
  • Another victim, of “El Plantón...” convened by the MUD, was Pedro Josué Carrillo, a resident of the La Porronera community, Herman Garmendia Avenue, of the Sta. Rosa parish, Iribarren Municipality, Barquisimeto. His remains were found at km 20 of the road to Quíbor, edo. Lara, with obvious signs of torture and burns.
  • According to eyewitnesses, on the afternoon of May 16, Pedro Josué Carrillo was forced by hooded men to get into a blue Toyota van, model Merú. When the leader of the kidnappers got him into the vehicle, he shouted: “Ride it because this is Chavista.”

  • Cañizales, a young musician from the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela, was mortally injured by the impact of a metal tube in the cervical region, during “El Plantón...” organized by factional bands in Las Mercedes, Baruta municipality, edo. Miranda.
  • The leaders of these massacres of police, national guards, public servants and Chavista militants were: María Corina Machado, Lilian Tintori, Antonio Ledezma and Leopoldo López, among others, who did not cease in their call for violence, to block streets and invoke the intervention of international forces to promote a military invasion of Venezuela.
