Padrino López highlighted the work of the Office of the Comptroller of the FANB on its 80th anniversary (+Press Release)

This Friday, March 13, the Minister of Popular
Power for Defense, Vladímir Padrino López, highlighted in a
statement the work of the Office of the Comptroller General of the
Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CONGEFANB) on the occasion of its 80th anniversary.
In the text shared by the Ministry of Defense through its Instagram account, it highlighted
the role of CONGEFANB as the governing
body and guarantor of the National System of Fiscal Control within the military sphere.
“Such a mission requires
absolute probity, ensuring that institutional procedures are inexorably
aligned with current laws, in perfect harmony with collective well-being and the integral
strengthening of the FANB,” the document highlights.
In addition, he extended his recognition to Major
General José Rafael Serrano Gotera, as well as to the staff that make up the
institution, whom he urged to maintain a vocation of service, ethics and transparency in
the exercise of their functions.
