Palestine representative to the UN: 11 people are killed every hour in the Gaza Strip

The representative of Palestine, Riyad Mansur, during the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), reported that 11 people are massacred every hour in the Gaza Strip due to constant bombing by Israel.

“In the past 90 days, 11 Palestinians were killed every hour, including 7 women and children. Hundreds (of Palestinians) are still dying today and 1% of the Palestinian population in Gaza has been killed,” he said.

In this regard, Mansur made a comparison with the population of the United States, which would be equivalent to 3 million Americans killed, while stressing that 87% of Palestinians have left the Gaza Strip.

“That's equivalent to 284 million Americans,” said the Palestinian ambassador to the UN.

According to the Sputnik website, the Israeli bombing has so far left more than 23,000 Palestinians dead and more than 58,900 injured since October 7, 2023.
