Parliamentarians of the AN will accompany the National Popular Consultation 2026

Deputies of the National Assembly (AN) will participate in accompanying the first National Popular Consultation of 2026, scheduled for Sunday, March 8.

Deputy Liliana González, member of the Permanent Commission for the Development of Communes, reported that legislators are deployed by communities under the guidance of the National Executive, focusing on the principle “More territory, less desk”. He stressed that the work includes monitoring, evaluation and social control.

González indicated that the objective of the day is to select projects and strengthen the model of communal self-government, as part of the Patria Plan of the 7 Transformations 2025-2031, with special attention to the sectors of the economy and human cities.
