Pedro Infante, Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), stated that the union, organization and mobilization of the People are the determining factors for achieving the necessary historical changes.

In his words, in the mobilization recorded this Friday on the occasion of the commemoration of February 27, 1989, he asserted that “that date is the main engine that would later mobilize the young rebels of February 4, 1992, the spark of the historical continuum that became the Bolivarian Revolution (...) February 27 is a people's date.”

The also first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN) honored those who died on that date. “Honor and glory to all those who died on February 27, 1989 (...) It's been 37 years and we do this act as a necessary exercise in historical memory, to never lose consciousness of where we come from,” he said.

Infante demanded the immediate release of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the first lady, Cilia Flores, while inviting them to support with firmness and total confidence the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez.
