The cry of the Venezuelan people for the lifting of imperial sanctions against the country came in the form of a prayer to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine dedicated to the invocation of the Virgin of Coromoto, patron saint of Venezuela, through a march in which political leaders, unions and representatives of the National Executive joined.

As part of the Great National Pilgrimage for Peace and a Venezuela free of sanctions, a motorized caravan was organized that began in Araure and traveled the José Antonio Páez highway to reach the state capital, in the southern part of the state.

The event, led by the sectoral vice-president of Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, and was attended by the president of the Portuguese Federation, Omar El Choumary, who accompanied the initiative of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, to call for national unity and consensus for the development of an economy free of sanctions, which guarantees legal security to the business community and can attract foreign investment.
