Plan Cayapa Heroica optimized air conditioning at the Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar Hospital

In an effort to strengthen the infrastructure of the National Public Health System (SPNS), brigades from the Cayapa Heroica National Plan carried out the second day of technical inspection at the facilities of the Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar University Hospital, located in Maturín, Monagas state.

During this comprehensive approach, the multidisciplinary team thoroughly evaluated 23 air conditioning units, with capacities ranging from 3.5 to 10 tons, in addition to equipment of 12,000 BTU.

The specialists, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), recovered and optimized the systems through deep cleaning, leak correction, recharging R22 refrigerant gas and the manufacture and installation of components such as bases, timers, thermostats and turbines.

In addition, during the technical day, the manufacture of ductwork and the installation of a 12-inch air extraction system were planned.
