A multidisciplinary team from the Cayapa Heroica National Plan in Sucre state recovered four medical and technological equipment in the La Llanada outpatient clinic, located in the Altagracia parish of the city of Cumaná.

The deployment was carried out by six brigade members of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite Sucre), who carried out the technical tasks that allowed the reactivation of an electrocardiograph, a sterilizing oven, a digital blood pressure monitor and an Uninterruptible Power System (UPS), according to a press release issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology.

The brigade's technicians explained that the thermostat of the sterilizing oven and the UPS equipment required complex interventions, and were successfully repaired directly at the facilities of the Cayapa Heroica nucleus, located at the Territorial Polytechnic University of the West of the Sucre Clodosbaldo Russian State (Uptoscr), in the parish of Santa Inés.

With these actions, the Bolivarian Government, through the Great Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, optimizes the conditions of free public health care in the Sucrense entity through technological sovereignty. In addition, these tasks respond to the imposition of unilateral coercive measures against the country and generate significant savings to the nation in terms of importing medical and technological equipment.
