Port of Guanta received more than 2,100 tons of oil drilling equipment

The ship MV. BBC RIO, coming from Brazil, arrived at the Port of Guanta, in the state of Anzoátegui, with a shipment of specialized equipment destined for oil drilling operations, the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation reported.

The unloading maneuvers were carried out at berth number five in the port terminal, where 271 pieces of cargo were disembarked, with a total weight of 2,147.95 tons, in addition to a 40-foot container with 17.70 tons of supplies for the energy sector.

According to the Transportation portfolio, Bolivariana de Puertos coordinated the reception and mobilization of equipment to meet the requirements of the oil industry and ensure the continuity of logistics operations in the main port in the east of the country.

In addition, operations were carried out at the pier aboard the EA TITICACA vessel, where 275 containers containing merchandise were unloaded and 328 pieces of equipment destined for export were processed, as part of the regular foreign trade activities carried out at the port terminal.
