President Delcy Rodríguez delivered rehabilitated Orthosis and Prosthesis Laboratory in Caracas

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, delivered this Tuesday the rehabilitated Orthosis and Prosthesis Laboratory “Professor Lenín Molina Peñaloza”, located in the Scientific and Assistance Center attached to the Dr. José Arvelo National Institute for Rehabilitation, in the San José parish of Caracas.
The president took a tour of the facilities fully rehabilitated with state-of-the-art technology, as part of the policies and programs being carried out by the Venezuelan State focused on the consolidation of the National Public Health System, through the addition of technological systems and the strengthening of comprehensive care for people with disabilities.
This laboratory facilitates and adds to the quality of life of patients who for some reason have reduced mobility or have a disability, either due to congenital causes or due to accidents.
The Head of State was accompanied by members of the Government team, such as the sector vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Isabel Iturria; the Minister of Popular Power for Health , Carlos Alvarado; and the director of the National Institute for Rehabilitation, Dr. Ismaira Josefina Borges González.
