President (E) Delcy Rodríguez closes the International Colloquium “Homeland is America” (+Panamanian Amphictyonic Congress)

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Monday the closing of the International Colloquium Patria es América, from the Teresa Carreño Theater, within the framework of the commemoration of the Bicentenary of the Panamanian Amphictyonic Congress, which claims the legacy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, as the birth of regional multilateralism.

Together with intellectuals and delegations from 12 Latin American nations, including prominent historians, intellectuals and defenders of Venezuelan popular sovereignty, this activity confirms the purpose of giving continuity to the original doctrines of continental unity and co-development.

With this academic and political activity, Venezuela confirms its historic commitment to Latin American unity, demonstrating that the Liberator's ideal remains a living road map for the peoples of the region, according to the Presidential Press on its website.
