The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, handed over the rehabilitated National Educational Unit (UEN) Dr. José de Jesús Arocha, located in the popular Petare parish of the Sucre municipality, in Miranda state.
He stressed the importance of recovering the country's entire school infrastructure. “It's one more fight of the Venezuelan people, but a fight that sees results for boys, for girls, for our youth,” he said.
He pointed out that this school in Petare “is symbolic, it is very significant”, and it serves “more than 1000 children and we are seeing the recovery of sports spaces, classrooms, laboratories, dining room, kitchen,” he explained.
The president in charge indicated that it is a comprehensive recovery, through the program Together everything is possible, “and it really is beautiful how the school turned out, very, very beautiful,” she said.
