President (E) Delcy Rodríguez received leaders of religious communities in Miraflores

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Tuesday a meeting with the country's different religious
communities, in the spaces of the Sol del Perú room, in the Miraflores
Palace, in Caracas.
The members of the Program
for Peace and Democratic Coexistence participated in the meeting, in addition to Monsignor José Antonio Da
Conceicao, Secretary General of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference; Father
Francisco Salazar, vicar of the Anglican Church; Juan Luis Sosa,
operational coordinator of the Civic Forum, who represented Rabbi Isaac Cohen; and Pastor Gerardo Velásquez,
priest of the Christian
Reformed Church of Venezuela.
Also present are Sheik Omar Kaddoura,
religious guide of the “Sheik Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz Al Ibrahim” mosque in Caracas;
Khalil Abdul, director of the Islamic World League in Venezuela; Pastor
Carlos Vielma, vice-president of Unicristiana de Venezuela; apostle Elías Rincón, president of Unicristiana de Venezuela; and Pastor José
Piñero, executive
director of the Evangelical Council of Venezuela and president of the Reformed Christian
Church of Venezuela.
The Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence is a strategic
initiative launched by the Government of Venezuela in January 2026,
under the direction of the president in charge, in order to
consolidate national stability and social harmony, promoting dialogue
and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. In addition, it seeks to eradicate hatred,
division and violence, fostering a culture of peace and respect for
differences between all sectors of the country.
