President (E) Delcy Rodríguez received the Prime Minister of Qatar in Miraflores

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received this Wednesday, at the Miraflores Palace, the Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who is making an official visit to Caracas to strengthen strategic alliances between the two countries.

According to a Presidential Press release, Rodríguez and the Qatari official will review the common work agenda, aimed at strengthening new alliances in key areas such as energy, tourism, fishing, agriculture, culture and education.

Venezuela and Qatar have maintained ties of brotherhood and cooperation since May 24, 1973, ties that have transcended comprehensive cooperation in various fundamental areas ranging from agriculture, tourism, trade and energy.

The Prime Minister of Qatar arrived on Venezuelan soil on Tuesday, February 17, when he was received by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.
