President (E) Delcy Rodríguez signed a strategic agreement with the company General Electric Vernova

The President in charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, formalized the signing of a strategic agreement with the multinational company General Electric Vernova aimed at strengthening key areas such as energy generation and the modernization of the country's technological infrastructure.
During the event, he highlighted that this alliance will make it possible to promote projects for the recovery of the National Electricity System (SEN), incorporating high-efficiency equipment and specialized maintenance services in order to increase production by 1,000 megawatts in 2026 and 4,000 in the next 5 years.
This alliance seeks to integrate the company's vast experience of more than 130 years in the development of reliable and sustainable electrical systems, with the objective of increasing the efficiency and robustness of energy infrastructure in the national territory.
The signing was attended by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Government of the United States of America to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, John Barret; the corporate director of General Electric Vernova, Roger Martella; and the president of the Generation Segment of General Electric Vernova, Eric Gray.
The Venezuelan delegation that accompanied the President in Charge is composed of the Sectorial Vice President for Economy and Finance, Calixto Ortega; the Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez; the Minister of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao; the president of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón; the vice-president of PDVSA, Jovanny Martínez; the Minister of Popular Power for Electric Energy, Rolando Alcalá; the president of CORPOELEC, José Luis Betancourt; and the Deputy Minister for Europe and North America, Oliver Blanco.
