President (E) Rodríguez: 164 dead and 971 injured (+ecumenical prayer)

This Thursday, June 25, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that after the earthquake registered in the country, the number of victims amounted to 164 deaths and 971 injured; in addition, 30 aftershocks of the earthquake have been generated since then.

In this regard, he indicated that rescue efforts are still active 24 hours a day. At the same time, he specified that he is in permanent contact with the governor of La Guaira, the mayor of Caracas and the mayor of Chacao, where the greatest damage as a result of the earthquake is recorded.

In the same way, he took the opportunity to convene a national ecumenical prayer at 7:00 this Thursday night, in the face of the emergency generated by the recent earthquake in the country.

He urged citizens to join in a spiritual encounter, regardless of their faith, with the objective of asking for the rescue alive of people who are trapped because of the recent earthquakes.

He also stressed the importance of joining hearts on this day of prayer and prayers, with the certainty that the country will emerge from this situation stronger and more united than ever. In addition, he reiterated the call for calm and to keep safe in their homes all those citizens whose homes are not damaged to their infrastructure.
