The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting this Wednesday with representatives of the Italian company ENI to evaluate projects and opportunities for cooperation in energy matters.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), during the meeting that took place at the Miraflores Palace, the authorities discussed current agreements between Venezuela and the corporation, as well as development and investment plans in the oil and gas sectors.

The conference was also attended by the sectoral vice-president of Economy, Calixto Ortega; the Minister of Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao; the president of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón, and representatives of ENI, led by its executive director, Claudio Descalzi.
