President (E) Rodríguez met with Lara artisans and cultors on a pilgrimage against sanctions

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, accompanied by the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, visited the Flower of Venezuela in Lara state. This emblematic monument is considered Cultural Heritage of the Nation and a historic stronghold of the country.

During the Cultural Handicrafts meeting that takes place in this venue, the president shared with the people; there she appreciated the exhibition of typical pieces that highlight the identity and culture of Larense.

He also toured the streets of the city, meeting with representatives of cults who joined in demanding the end of international sanctions.

The president also visited the National Monument “The Flower of Venezuela”, as part of her agenda to continue the Great National Pilgrimage, which seeks to mobilize the country's conscience under the slogan of a “Venezuela without Sanctions”.

During this visit, the National President was accompanied by authorities from the tourism and cultural sector, among other authorities, with whom she toured the areas of this architectural jewel designed by the master Fruto Vivas, which has become the standard of the country's resilient spirit and natural beauty in the face of external adversities.

This mobilization aims to make visible the Venezuelan people's rejection of economic restrictions, in addition to demanding the immediate cessation of measures affecting the well-being of the population. So far, the route has been consolidated as a space of articulation for various sectors of the country.

Lara represents the third state visited by the president on this tour, after her visit to the entities of Zulia and Falcón.
