The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to building a diversified and non-rentier economic model.

From the Sovereign Field Fair from the Altagracia parish in Caracas, Rodríguez highlighted that this weekend alone, 21 thousand tons of food are distributed through social programs to serve Venezuelan families.

“Food is distributed through social programs where the Venezuelan people access it at very affordable prices and that makes it possible to address the vulnerabilities created by the criminal blockade against Venezuela,” he said.

He insisted that domestic producers must be accompanied, from their smallest scale, to the entrepreneurial economy. “Here in the markets we are also seeing the flourishing of the communal economy, marketing networks, such as communal wineries,” he said.

The President-in-Charge noted that she participated in several productive activities during the week. “We were with productive communes in the Caracas-La Guaira corridor, there is a meat destemmer, but there is also agricultural production and pork production, food and vegetables production, and then we were with the Ezequiel Zamora Peasant Union,” he explained.

“What we are seeing is the chain, the new economy for Venezuela, the model we have asked for, a non-rentier oil economy that does not depend on oil revenues, a diversified economy with all 14 powers of the Bolivarian economic agenda,” he said.

He assured that important investors from around the world are coming to Venezuela to precisely boost the country's productive engines.
