President in Charge: Almost 7 million 400 thousand people were mobilized during the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the mobilization of the Venezuelan people during the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026 increased, reaching almost 7 million 400 thousand people throughout Venezuela.
“The increase is 17% and hotel occupancy has an impact on the economy, almost two million people, an increase of 7%,” he said.
He also said that “we give great applause to the Venezuelan people and to those who stayed resting in their homes, it is also a form of recreation.”
This was stated in the spaces of PDVSA La Estancia, where he led the event to provide the balance of the deployment of the Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026, together with the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón and other authorities.
