The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, sent a message of solidarity and strength from Venezuelan youth to President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, who have been kidnapped in the United States since January 3.

“And or from here, I want us to send President Maduro and the first lady, the fighter Cilia Flores, a loud applause, that they have a lot of strength, that they feel the love of Venezuelan youth and that we are now in this process, dear young people, and let it be known, of course we are with them,” stressed the president in charge during an event at the Teresa Carreño theater.

In this regard, he added that what is being experienced right now in Venezuela is an exceptional stage in our history that we must rebuild through Bolivarian peace diplomacy.

“Let us not be afraid of our differences, they are historical differences; two presidents coincided at the same time, James Monroe and Simon Bolivar, and they had contradictions in their concept of the development of their countries, Monroe with an expansionist vision, you know, a vision of this continent for the United States, and Bolivar with an anti-imperialist vision, with a vision and a profound conception respect for freedom, for independence, for sovereignty, for bringing freedom to the countries of our America, and we can assume these contradictions with respect, with height”, reiterated the president.
