President in Charge announces rehabilitation of the Simón José Romero Madrid CDI in Macarao

The health center receives more than five thousand people a month

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced the delivery to the Macarao parish community of the fully rehabilitated Simón José Romero Madrid Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI).

The activity was led from the site by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, who, through a television show, explained to the president in charge that the health center has been fully recovered in its infrastructure and equipment. For her part, the Deputy Minister of Integral Health, Rosalbina Hurtado, explained that this healthcare center has a monthly care capacity of approximately 5,200 people.

He also highlighted that the space functions as a training center for the University of Health Sciences, integrating undergraduate students and recently graduated doctors who are already carrying out their Article 8 to serve the community.
