President in Charge announces suspension of school activities and work not related to essential services

He indicated that care and rescue agencies will remain deployed in the affected areas.

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced the suspension of school activities throughout the country, as well as tasks not related to the provision of essential services.

In statements made on Wednesday night, giving a balance after the earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 that occurred in the country at approximately 6:00pm, the President in charge specified that in the case of school activities, the suspension will be maintained for the rest of the week to facilitate rescue and care for the damage caused by these earthquakes.

He indicated that care and rescue agencies will remain deployed in the affected areas, and the activation of the entire public and private health network will be at the service to ensure care for those injured and injured as a result of these earthquakes.
